Description
Jamestown Mushroom Company is owned by a friend of mine and his partner based in Tyler, Texas. They specialize in gourmet and medicinal mushrooms with an emphasis on a farm to table ethos in serving East Texas.
These are some of the graphic elements of their logo and brand deck.
Their desired brand identity was to embody a high-end luxury feel while still having their natural/organic/sustainable/eco-friendly elements shine through. They also wanted to incorporate the heritage of the local area and Texas as a whole. Typography taste leaned into an Antique or Old West feel with bold, bluegrass associations.
Description
This is an ongoing project since 2020 collaborating with longtime clients Maxine and Alan from Global Threadz thrift store in my hometown of Fredericksburg, VA. Twice a year they host Thrift World Expo, a large event offering vintage, tattoos, live art, collectibles, and more.
The oldest flyer is on the bottom right and the most recent flyer is featured large on the left. I have created 9 flyers for them. Themes have ranged from Mortal Kombat, Wayne’s World, Vintage Seventies, Grateful Dead, Fast and Furious, Austin Powers, The Matrix, Bratz dolls, to Goosebumps books.
