My story
I have been making art since 2015 and freelance writing professionally since 2022. I’ve curated the brand of One Groovy Gal since 2016 and have made over 3000 sales and hundreds of custom artworks.
It was originally named “Oneloveartshop” for the first few years because I loved Bob Marley and was having a spiritual awakening!
I am now a part time artist making empowering, groovy art centered around spirituality, activism, nature, and pop culture.
I often create collections of works centered around a theme and then donate a portion of profit to a charity or philanthropic cause. Since 2016, I have run a “Save the […]” series of 3 stickers and donated a portion of overall profit to the Ocean Cleanup, Chimp Haven, and Save the Elephants. In February 2025, I painted a bird collection and donated over $150 toward the Nature Conservancy. I have also run sales toward a cause; in 2024 I ran a sale in order to donate a portion of profit to Amnesty International, a human rights organization.
I have plans to expand the philanthropic scope of my artwork and am excited to see how we can help make the world a better, more loving place together.
“[Jimi Hendrix] dreamed of amassing musicians from all over the world in Woodstock and they would sit in a field in a circle and play and play. It didn’t matter what key or tempo or what melody, they would keep on playing through their discordance until they found a common language. Eventually they would record this abstract universal language of music in his new studio. ‘The language of peace. You dig?’ I did.”
